Client Corner: Meet Trae!

Meet Trae! Trae has been a part of the Sky Point family for a little over two years. During that time, he attended ABA therapy where he developed a variety of daily living skills, including learning how to communicate his wants and needs using his AAC device. Through continued practice at ABA and with support from his Recreational Therapist and Direct Support Professionals, Trae now confidently communicates while in the community, at school, and when spending time with friends. Most recently, Trae has begun successfully utilizing his AAC device during class at the high school he attends.

In his free time, Trae has picked up several hobbies that he really enjoys. When the weather is nice, you can often find him out riding his bike around the neighborhood. He also enjoys completing puzzles and recently participated in a puzzle competition at a local library, where he proudly took second place! Trae has also developed a love for traveling with his family, exploring new places and creating unforgettable memories, including the unique experience of swimming with pigs! Trae’s family is incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and looks forward to seeing what the future holds for him!
